Senja by Heart is a family business located in Torsken on the outskirts of Senja.
Torsken is one of the few remaining fishing villages that still has operations in the fish reception. We have different types of accommodation scattered throughout the village, which measures 1.2 km in extent. We have a well-reputed restaurant that is the heart of the village and everything we do. We also have a number of different activities that we offer. Have a look and see if it tempts you – Welcome!
Obviously, you have to go there with a little feeling of being at the end of the world. But really, it's worth it. Excellent from start to finish.

We came to Senja by Heart on our last evening in Norway. The place looked gorgeous online, but the menu had no vegetarian options. We decided to take a risk and book a table anyway leaving a comment that we are vegetarians. They took notice of our comment and were ready to make a risotto for us. It was so nice and thoughtful. And the rest did not disappoint.

I ate the best salmon of my life there.That was a year and a half ago and I have never had salmon this good again.On top of that, the service was very welcoming, the restaurant is in a very peaceful setting, it's worth the detour!

Maybe colored by late season visit, but a few problems. The restaurant was quite empty, yet we got a table in the middle of the room. 75% of the menu was not available.As we were seated almost on top of the neighbor table, we could see a lot of issues with the service.Food was decent, bread was great.

A cozy restaurant where you can stop after a bike ride and drink a cup of aromatic, strong, invigorating coffee with pistachio ice cream on the terrace. Enjoying the silence, the magnificence of the mountains and the bay.Or you can have a delicious dinner, trying local delicacies Cod tongues, bouillabaisse with cream and, of course, bread, which they prepare and bake themselves according to a special secret recipe. The order of bread was repeated three times, it is served with a special butter, emphasizing and complementing the already wonderful taste! Sooooo delicious!! I recommend!When the twilight comes, they light up hearts in which you can take a photo of a happy moment💞
Amazing restaurant! Enjoy the trip until there because have a amazing view in Senja. The food was incredible, the waiters were super nice and friendly. Really, nothing to say against the place. A place to come back for sure !
I was staying near Hamn and was really aching for a nice meal. So I cycled the 20km to get here and oh wow I’m so glad I did. To get here you need to drive / cycle over a mountain pass and it’s stunning. The restaurant itself is just very cosy, incredible views and the food is genuinely fantastic. I want to shout out to Boris who was a fantastic waiter and has some incredible stories about his own cycling!
Delicious meal! Had the perfectly prepared beef with a glass of really great red wine and the yummy chocolate caramel dessert. They brought us some amazing bread and butter that we couldn't get enough of... so good!! Nice and helpful staff. Highly recommend!
Wonderful food and amazing service! has an amazing campground with awesome views! The salmon balls were so good! The Halibut was delicious! Hubby got the fish soup he also said it was amazing.
This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The staff is so attentive and kind. The play area for our toddler was absolutely perfect and allowed my husband and I to finally relax for an enjoyable meal. The kids menu is phenomenal. He decided he wanted the steak option and it was perfect. The first meal he really ate for almost a week! He loved it. It was perfectly cooked. Our meals were also fantastic! Everything was fresh and delicious. We rarely linger at a restaurant (due to mentioned toddler) but we were able to stay and enjoy the beautiful views from our window table for almost two hours. What an incredible place. Highly highly recommend!
Incredible food - the boknafisk casserole was one of the best dishes I had in Norway so far. Super friendly staff also.
Great restaurant! Food is KM-0, all the dishes are amazing. The personal (+ cooker) are super friendly. This restaurant is a perfect choice after a long hiking day. 10/10

The best restaurant in Senja!???????? Nice service in a very cozy place ❤ we ask for a vegetarian option and the chef kindly offer a dish out the menu. The fish and dessert delicious as well. 100% recommended!
